"Stories without dragons are boring." So says Jon Acuff, author of the book, "Start."
He goes on to write,
"You don't get 'happily ever after' unless at some point it was in doubt, unless the whole adventure was in question. Success was anyone's guess. Survival was up for grabs."
True, right? Are you up against crazy odds in some endeavor in your life the Lord has called you to? Don't stop. You will face dragons. You will have to face seemingly insurmountable odds and scale the highest of walls. Press on. The end is always worth it.
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God." ~ Hebrews 12:1-2
