Good things come to those who wait. Right? Right.
This morning we happily sipped our collardbananapineapplegrapefruit smoothies, content with the world.
By three p.m., I had him cornered in the bedroom and furtively locked the door behind me.
"Look. This is how it's going to go down. I'm going to drive to a fast food place, grab a couple of cheeseburgers and smuggle them back here under a coat. We'll lock the door of our bedroom. The kids will never know."
"No one ever has to know."
He smiled and slowly shook his head. "Babe. Come on. We're almost there."
"You're right. Erase this entire conversation."
I unlocked the door and went back to the laundry.
Enjoy today,

Boy, you scared me with the beginning of this post girly! I thought you had lost your normally sane mind! ha ha ha Josh is right, you're almost there and I for one KNEW you would make (or should I say "will" make it?). You are both looking great too :) <3 Robin
ReplyDeleteHaha, I know, right?! I think I am halfway to losing my mind; but, as always, our God is always faithful and I trust Him implicitly. He is so good, and I know He will bring us through this! Thank you ever so much for the encouragement and kind words.
