Adventures In Green {Smoothies}: Day 27

To coffee; or not to coffee? 

That is the question.

No worries; I'm not talking about tomorrow. There will be no breakage of this 31-day pilgrimmage to the land flowing with green smoothies.  I'm just thinking ahead and planning for Friday.

Celebration day!

So here is the crossroads at which I stand.  Without coffee in my life my moods have been more stable.  I have been headache-free completely for three weeks now.  There is no energy high followd  by a crash; just an even-keeled steady endurance.

On the flip side, my love affair with the bean runs deep.  Just the thought alone is enough to woo me out of a warm cocoon of wrapped blankets in the morning.  Holding a steaming mug between my cupped hands is a bright spot in any day. 

Yes, I've tried tea and do enjoy a cup now and again.  But coffee firmly holds my heart within a chunky ceramic mug. 

Will I try decaf?  Perhaps. 

Only time, and February 1st, will tell.
